​TPM3D, which was originally involved in 3D printing services, was founded in 1999 and is one of the pioneering professional companies in China's 3D printing industry. The company changed its name to TPM3D in 2019. Headquartered in Shanghai, the company has established R&D and manufacturing centers as well as business branches for sales and operations in Guangdong, Beijing, Jiangsu, and Anhui. In addition, TPM3D has jointly established a medical 3D printing application center with Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Zhongshan Chen Xinghai Hospital, providing specialized services in the field of precision medicine.

TPM3D made a significant mark in 2007 by being the first to introduce its independently developed selective laser sintering (SLS) additive manufacturing system in Asia. From 2014 to 2018, the company received investment from industry giant Stratasys, resulting in acomprehensive technological upgrade and positioning it as the first domestic manufacturer of SLS additive manufacturing systems to receive TÜV Rheinland CE certification in Germany. In 2019, the founding team successfully reacquired all shares, marking a new era of independent brand operation under the name "TPM3D".

Since embarking on its journey of independent operation, TPM3D has completed several rounds of financing, which has significantly strengthened its capabilities in research and development, manufacturing, and service. It has successively built and commissioned two new production bases in Guangdong and Anhui provinces. The company has won the honorary title issued by the Shanghai Municipal government and has twice been included in the list of typical additive manufacturing application scenarios by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

TPM3D has been deeply engrossed in the research, development, and application of SLS laser sintering technology for over two decades. Its business portfolio encompasses the R&D, production, and sales of 3D printing equipment and materials, along with the provision of professional 3D printing services. Presently, the company has launched a total of 8 industrial-grade laser sintering additive manufacturing systems, including the S series, P series, and E series. Notable among them are two dual-laser large-size SLS printing devices, S600DL and P550DL, and the S320HT, which is designed to support the printing of high-temperature and high-performance materials. Additionally, TPM3D has developed more than ten varieties of polymer laser sintering special powder materials, and its products are protected by over 70 national patents in China.
